The breakfast was good, but our table and chairs were sticky. We were very disappointed with the hotel. We stayed one night, which was enough once we saw the room: the bed and bathroom door were broken, and the shower was very dirty. The pool and hotel service were the only positives, but the pool was packed because it is open to people who aren't staying at the hotel. Very few people speak English.

The hotel looks okay from outside, but inside it's very nice. We came for business and didn't know anything about Turkey or Tekkeköy. The staff were warm and lovely. They kindly took us to get a SIM card and showed us places, and when we needed to call someone who spoke Turkish, they helped translate. The “patron” is especially kind and clever, and speaks English very well. You can stay here if you're looking for a welcoming place with friendly staff.

I stayed here on a business trip while traveling to Russia and liked the hotel a lot. The staff were professional and attentive, but I liked the comfortable rooms most of all. The Turkish food and Turkish coffee were excellent.

It's handy for the airport and Samsunspor stadium if you're going to a game. The tram is also nearby, making it easy to get to Samsun city centre.
