We paid 85€ a night for a room that felt like hell. The manager would take foreign currency but not credit cards, even Turkish ones, then give change in liras. I really want the local Turkish Sanitary and Epidemiological Station to be contacted. If someone from Trabzon or Turkey sees this, please call them. The hotel should be closed forever. The people working there seemed dishonest, willing to take any money while giving guests a dirty room with someone else's hair. We arrived at night after a long flight, my boyfriend and I, and were sent down to a horrible room on floor -2 that they called a family room. I can't imagine a normal family with children managing there. They didn't give us the Wi-Fi password, and when we asked for slippers, they said they didn't have any. The Wi-Fi didn't work anyway. The room was damp, with very wet towels left on the beds. We couldn't tell if they were clean or dirty. The bathroom and toilet hadn't been cleaned, and the pillowcases and sheets hadn't been washed. There was black hair all over them. The bathroom had no partition, just a hole in the wall, so you could hear everything the person was doing in there. The lighting was awful, fit only for moles, and the windows faced a dirty courtyard with no daylight. Breakfast was one boiled egg, bread, and a pat of butter. Anything else cost extra.
