KTÜ Koru Otel

We really enjoyed our seven nights here. The hotel sits on the university campus, close to Forum Mall and other conveniences, with a university café nearby that makes delicious coffee. The hotel cafeteria was excellent too. Many thanks to the reception team, especially Taha and Erdem, who were very helpful and accommodating.

Breakfast was a major disappointment, with few options and poor quality, not what I'd expect from a hotel. One day I spotted food on the buffet that was clearly spoiled and moldy. The staff member quietly took it away after I told her, without thanking me or offering any apology or acknowledgment. In general the staff came across as rude and unprofessional, especially with Arab guests. Their uncomfortable, disrespectful staring made the stay unpleasant, and they weren't helpful when we asked for assistance. The location also made it hard to relax: the hotel is right by a university and near the airport, so student activity and airplanes made it noisy all the time. I wouldn't recommend Kuro Otel in Trabzon, especially to anyone wanting a respectful, relaxing stay.

The rooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and a quiet setting. The reception staff were helpful, especially Mr Taha. I liked staying here.

I had a pleasant stay. The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and cooperative.
