Sera Lake Resort Hotel

The staff were consistently polite, friendly, and ready to help, and the hotel itself was comfortable and very clean. We also loved the rich, delicious breakfast and the stunning view at Seral Lake Hotel. We’d be happy to come back.

I only wish I’d had more time here. Sera is a lovely place to slow down and relax, and the spa massages and sauna were a treat. Mahmoud was especially welcoming and professional, and made sure our stay went well. I’d definitely recommend it.

The balconies had lovely views, the food was amazing, and I really enjoyed the room service, sauna, hamam, and especially the jacuzzi in my room. The hotel sits on top of a hill or mountain, so shops and restaurants aren’t walkable, though there’s a bus stop right outside and taxis are reasonably priced. I’d hoped to get a massage, but there were no male staff in the spa, so I couldn’t. There were a few small annoyances, but the experience was still great, and they weren’t really the hotel’s fault.

The peaceful setting near Lake Sera was lovely for unwinding. We enjoyed the beautiful views at all hours and the birdsong, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and reasonably equipped. Breakfast was tasty and served from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM, but after 9:30 many items, including simit (Turkish bagel), had run out. When we asked for more, they said they couldn’t provide any. There weren’t enough glasses either, so one day I drank juice from a tea cup 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️, and some plates had stains. The service in the room was much worse. We requested room service on two days and nobody came. Reception only apologized when we mentioned it. We ran out of tea and coffee, and were told they were out of stock. They had clean towels but didn’t give us any, and I had to get slippers myself because ours were dirty. I’m really disappointed in the customer service. If the view and quiet are all you want, it’s a good choice, but for better service I think there are other options.
