Hanli Apart Otel

It’s a lovely apartment in a peaceful, quiet area, though a little far from the sea. We really liked our room and want to thank the owner, Ms. Didar. We hope to see you again in the years ahead.

For us, the price matched what we got, especially since we mostly spent our time out and about. We stayed six days, and the owner and staff were friendly and communicated really well. The rooms were clean, the furnishings new, and it felt like a reliable, comfortable place. Our room faced the back because the front ones were full. The kitchen and L-shaped sofa area looked onto the corridor, so it was a bit dim. We wanted to sit out on the balcony, but there was only a small coffee table, not a proper table for meals. The kitchen had a mini-fridge without a freezer compartment, so frozen food wasn’t an option, and there was no washing machine, which made things harder. The bedroom had air conditioning. Towels were there when we arrived, but weren’t changed during our six-day stay. Since we ate in the room, we really needed to vacuum, and I think a vacuum cleaner for guests to use would help. Most kitchen items were enough, though there were no knives or coffee pots. For a longer apartment stay, it could fall short of what you expect. Have a great holiday. Turunç is quieter than other holiday spots, and we had a lovely boat trip after a woman working at the apartment recommended a tour. We stayed three nights at the end of August. The apartment was very clean, with enough cooking utensils, a mini-fridge and a two-burner electric stove. It’s very quiet around there, with nothing nearby to disturb you. Parking was easy to find close by or right in front. The pool is tiny, but hardly anyone uses it, so you can have it to yourself. Turunç’s public beach has only a very small public section, with the rest paid. We found Kumlubük beach a lovely, calm place to swim instead.

Turunç is wonderfully peaceful, with a central spot that makes it easy to reach the beach, market, mosque and pharmacy on foot. The sea is an 8-10 minute walk or 2-3 minutes by car. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, cafes and souvenir shops in the centre, and about two hours is enough to explore the area. From the house you can see the mountain view everywhere. We stayed as a family in room 201, with our 9- and 3-year-old children. The living-room seating turns into a bed, and I slept on it one night, very comfortably. There’s air conditioning only in the bedroom, but with the bathroom, balcony and windows kept closed, it cooled the whole place well enough for a comfortable night. The kitchen had enough plates, dishes, pots and pans, and the standard mini-cupboard was enough for a holiday. The towels, sheets, sofas, beds, curtains and tulle were the cleanest and newest we’ve seen in all the apartments we’ve stayed in. The toilet and shower were new and in very good condition. The apartment, stairs, shared areas and pool were spotless too. We had a great time, relaxed and enjoyed ourselves, and would come back without hesitation. Both Turunç and Hanlı Apart are now on our return list. Thank you to Ms. Didar, her daughter Ms. Dila, and the other sweet, smiling woman working there. We felt at home. I also want to mention how helpful and clear Ms. Didar was on our first phone call. The children especially had fun, and I hope this respectful, cultural place stays that way.
