Cybele in Cappadocia

Kurtuluş, Ahmet, and the rest of the team were so friendly and helpful, especially when my father needed a hand because of his mobility issues. We stayed at Cybele over New Year's Eve and for a few nights after, and had a great time. The rooms are spacious and pet friendly. Uçhisar is quiet, with enough shops and restaurants nearby.

Cybele’s terrace, balconies, and windows have striking views across the valley and rock formations, where you can watch the hot air balloons rise. The hotel is elegantly designed and has everything I wanted for a modern, comfortable stay that still felt like home. The team was gracious, friendly, and helpful, always attentive without hovering, and breakfast was amazing. It’s easy to arrange activities nearby, and parking is just steps away if you come by car. The hotel is newish and sits in an authentic village among the fairy chimneys and cave dwellings that bring people to Cappadocia. I chose it as my base for the views and its outstanding reviews, and it exceeded my high expectations. I prefer this peaceful, convenient spot to the nearby touristy, commercialized town of Gõreme. Cybele is one of my favorite hotels, and I hope to come back and share it with family and friends. Thanks to the Cybele family for such a beautiful, peaceful, inspiring visit.

We happened upon this place when booking, and it turned out to be a great choice. Kurtuluş and the team made our stay feel truly special by going above and beyond. We’ll definitely return next year.

We were lucky to come across this hotel. The owner was so welcoming, friendly, and flexible. From the quiet setting with no disturbances at night to the wonderful sunrise view of hot air balloons rising, it felt like a hidden gem. Breakfast was excellent, too. It’s a new hotel, so you avoid common problems like bad showers and worn facilities that can come with older places. I’d highly recommend it if you want a luxury stay at a reasonable price.
