The old cave dwellings have been restored beautifully, and the architecture shows impressive attention to detail. The rooms were very clean and the whole property was nicely decorated. Breakfast was great, and in the evening there’s a lovely terrace above the rooms where you can sit. A fantastic experience.

The rooms were surprisingly clean, and they let us use the kitchen to make food for our infant. They also arranged a paid day tour for us, which turned out decent. But I’d describe this as more of a homestay than a hotel, so be aware there’s no room service. At any given time there was just one staff member, who seemed very untrained at basic requests. They said they’d run out of water, and the cups and glasses were mostly unwashed and smelled bad. Breakfast was decent, but didn’t start until 9:30 AM, when the “chef” decided to arrive. We had booked airport transfers well ahead, but had to renegotiate them and eventually arrange our own. Their preferred vendor could only take us at a time that felt uncomfortably close to our flight. We’d booked four of the eight rooms in advance, yet they were all far apart, which could have been handled better. The toilets had no doors, just flimsy see-through curtains, which was uncomfortable for anyone sharing a room who wasn’t a couple. Overall, below average, and better options are available for this price.

The owner, his mum, and Tofi the cat are just lovely, and the hotel feels personal and welcoming. My room was luxurious, and breakfast was so good and filling I didn’t need lunch. Loved every bit of it, and I’d highly recommend it.
