The rooms were damp-smelling, and the hotel was in terrible shape. What we found didn't match the photos at all, and the service was 0 out of 10. After an exhausting journey, we stood in the sun for an hour because nobody greeted us or opened the doors until the manager arrived. Once we got inside, our rooms weren't ready. They started cleaning and preparing them while we waited. Breakfast was part of our booking, but it was never served on time during our stay, and they forgot it completely on the first morning. If you can stay somewhere else, do. I absolutely don't recommend this hotel.

The rooms at Helios Cave Hotel were cozy, clean, and nicely decorated, with that distinctive cave style. Bilal, the owner, made our visit especially good. He helped my friend and me book hot air balloon tickets and shared useful tips for exploring the village and nearby areas. His local knowledge and kindness made us feel at home. We had an unforgettable stay and would recommend it to anyone visiting the region. We’ll definitely return.

We'd gladly book here again. The staff were helpful and kind, breakfast was good, and the rooms were clean and much bigger than we expected. The area was quiet, though the hotel is beside a mosque. The call to prayer at sunrise will definitely wake you, so keep that in mind if you plan to sleep in. It didn't bother us.

The hotel has a nice atmosphere, and the rooms inside are very nice, but housekeeping was terrible. We checked in on the 20th, then went out on a day trip on the 21st. While we were away, nobody made the beds, changed our used wet towels, or cleaned the room. We had to ask several times for water, tea bags, and milk powder. The person at reception didn't understand English, which made communication very difficult. We were there for two nights and are checking out on the morning of the 22nd.

I've been to Cappadocia before, but this trip was different. I especially enjoyed the hotel and the village of Mustafapaşa, about 2 km from the center of Urgup. It's a charming, quiet place with nice restaurants. There are lovely little details throughout, from the antique bell on the door to the bed linen, and the prices are affordable. A great mix of location, a comfortable hotel, Turkish breakfast, and price. Strongly recommended for artists, writers, and creative people.
