Kayadibi Cave Hotel

The staff were the highlight. They gave us a free upgrade, kept breakfast available late after we overslept, and suggested an amazing place, ihlara, which I thoroughly enjoyed. They also pointed us to a spot for watching the hot air balloons. Service was 5/5. There are lots of great restaurants nearby, including one where we had fire lamb chops, and it’s easy to get to. The hotel is near a cliff, so we had a pretty nice view, with plenty of wind. The rooms were cool and cozy. The AC made it quite cold, but you can turn it off if you prefer.

The balcony and dining area had a restful, panoramic view, and when we did head out, the town center was only a quick walk away. The manager was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the hotel’s relaxing atmosphere so much that it was hard to leave to look around. We stayed just one night and loved the cave hotel experience. The room and the rest of the hotel were tastefully decorated, warm, beautiful, and very clean.

We stayed in the first week of October. The room and bathroom were very clean and well kept, and the place felt cozy, warm, and neat. The terrace had an amazing view 👌🏻. The guy at reception was helpful. He didn’t speak English, so we communicated with Google Translate.

The cave rooms stayed at just the right temperature even though it was hot outside in summer, so we didn’t need extra cooling. The shower worked well, with no issues with hot water or water flow. Rooms were clean, and the authentic furniture was well maintained. It was a pleasure to stay somewhere so unusual. The owner helped make my Cappadocia trip a pleasant experience. Kayadibi cave hotel sits in the center of Ürgüp, with a very beautiful view of the city from its spot in the mountain. Near the hotel, you can go up the hill for a breathtaking view across the city and explore caves nearby.
