Sedirli Konak 1751 - Special Class

The location made it easy to visit Ürgüp and Cappadocia's main sights, while still being peaceful enough to rest. Breakfast was a favorite, with fresh homemade food and great local flavors. Sedirli Konak Hotel has lovely restored stone architecture, spotless, cozy rooms, and a warm, authentic feel. The staff welcomed me like family from the moment I arrived, and helped with local suggestions and transport. It brings together comfort, history, and hospitality so well. I can't recommend it enough, and I'll be back on my next trip.

The place itself is beautiful, but the staff are what I remember most. Turkan makes a really tasty omelette, and her breakfast hits a nice balance of healthy, filling food with a little indulgence. I'd come back just for breakfast.

Even though I was only there for one night in mid January, I felt looked after the whole time and didn't want to leave. I got upgraded because they were overbooked, so I had a beautiful room at a very cheap price. It was spotless, with a lovely clean bathroom. They'd provided slippers, extra bedding, hot drinks, TV access, room service for food and other products, and the Wi-Fi was exceptional. There was free breakfast in the morning, though I missed it, I did catch a glimpse and it looked beautiful and filling. The hotel is a short walk from coffee shops, markets, bars, pharmacies, and other places. I was there to visit Goreme Park for the views and hot air balloons, and it was about a 20-30 minute drive away. I didn't have to ask for anything. The stay was wonderful, and I'll stay again if I'm in Turkey and keep recommending it to everyone.

The hosts were very welcoming and gave us helpful suggestions for places to see. The owner and his wife were especially friendly. We had a spacious, warm room on two levels, and my children enjoyed sleeping upstairs. Breakfast was simple, but the hospitality and advice made our stay better. Markets and restaurants are close by. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
