Itimat Hotel

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and a nice place.

I think it's now called Bamboo Urla. It's a small, charming place, but really only suited to an overnight stay.

A terrible hotel, constantly being renovated. You end up sharing your room with the workers doing the repairs. Dirty water sprays out of the shower drain. They're completely irresponsible, and the place is mediocre, with awful, sloppy people dealing with you. I'll never go back or recommend it.

We booked a sea-view room for June 13-14 just one day ahead. Arriving at 4 PM, we found construction workers in the bathroom, with broken tiles and renovation work underway. They said it would take an hour, so we waited in the next room, which had no sea view despite a 40% price difference. Its air conditioner was broken, and we sat in a closed room in 40-degree heat. The one-hour job dragged on for seven hours. Around 11 PM we finally returned to our room, only to be told not to use the bathroom because the grout was still wet. We left without an argument, saying,
