The room hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guest, and the walls were dirty. The place is old and seems not to have been refreshed in years, with too few facilities. Even basic bathroom items were missing: no curtain, shelves, cabinet, or hooks for towels and clothes. The exposed wires on an electrical plug sticking out of the wall were dangerous, especially with no shower curtain or holder for the shower head. If it fell, someone could be badly hurt. The owner advertised a lower price online, then asked me to pay double when I arrived. He shouted and threatened to throw me out if I didn’t pay more than the booked price. On my departure day, he turned off the electricity to save money. Avoid this place!

The rooms smelled of damp and cigarettes, and the beds were dirty. The place felt like a pavyon, and the whole experience was awful. We paid, but after just ten minutes we said we couldn’t stay in those conditions. They still refused to refund us. Don’t be misled by the location.

I was in room 4, which was clean, and the hotel is in a great location. It felt quiet and safe, a good choice for a girls’ night out. Cem Bey and his cat Maya are both so calm and peaceful :) Hope to see you again!

I really appreciated how helpful Mr. Cem was. The air conditioning worked very well, and the seafront view was lovely. I stayed two nights around the start of August, falling asleep to the sound of the waves. The sea itself was very dirty, though. The rooms are quite small, with the bed and sink almost touching, and the combined sink and bathroom feels cramped. There’s also a strange smell. I couldn’t tell whether it came from the sea or was sewage. You can hear sounds from the neighboring rooms very clearly. I paid 3000 TL per night, but while I was there a family with a child was charged 2000 TL per night. That difference surprised me. Thanks again, Mr. Cem, and keep up the good work.
