We rented the whole apartment as a family and were very happy with it. Mr. Doğan looked after us well from arrival through departure. It was clean, smelled fresh, and was nicely heated, which mattered a lot in winter with a small child. There were the things we needed and bathroom amenities. Being near Art Street and the historic bazaar was a big plus, and the price was very reasonable compared with other rentals.

The central location and Mr. Doğan's attentiveness earned this place its two stars for me, and after his kind reply and the care he showed about my complaint, I've raised that to three 😌 Mr. Doğan greeted us warmly, explained the rules, and handed over the keys. There are rules posted everywhere, down to tiny details, which reminded me of military service. I understand the no-smoking rule, but guests are expected to wear the hotel's slippers, which have already been worn by others. We walked barefoot at first, then noticed our soles had gone black and switched to our own beach sandals. I also found a few hairs on the bed. None of the windows have screens, so you can't open them, and on our first night we saw a spider and a cockroach. This was our fifth time renting a house in Urla, and we'd never encountered this much nature in another house. Since cleanliness is emphasized, the lack of it was a problem for me. On the plus side, the fridge and air conditioners worked properly, and there was plenty of water waiting in the fridge. Parking wasn't a concern. You can walk to Urla's art street in 8-10 minutes, and the central location puts you roughly between Demircili or Altınköy beaches to the south and Çeşmealtı beach to the north.

A new hotel with spotless rooms and bathrooms, its own parking, and a convenient spot within walking distance of the art street. Shops nearby cover everyday needs. The cafe downstairs makes a very nice, affordable breakfast, with homemade jam and peanut butter available on request. Mr. Doğan is helpful, and the place feels clean, safe, and well served. It offers good value, and staying there feels comfortable, almost like being at home in Urla. Many thanks to Mr. Doğan.

We planned just one night, but liked the guesthouse enough to stay for two 🙂 The rooms are spacious and clean, and there's a shared kitchen you can use freely as well as a washing machine. Mr. Doğan, the owner, is kind and attentive. It's an easy walk to the center, with supermarkets close by. A good base if you want to see Alaçatı and Çeşme.
