The pool was cleaned regularly and felt well sheltered, and there’s a market and gas station nearby. Still, I wouldn’t choose this place again. The house seems adequate at first, but its problems become clear inside. The bedrooms have working air conditioning, but the main area where you eat, relax, or watch TV only has a very old fan. Sitting on the veranda or balcony was impossible because of the flies, and inside there wasn’t even a fan. The TV uses an old satellite receiver, with no good platforms for shows or movies. The appliances were mostly enough, but the Turkish coffee machine was very old and had an electrical leak, which is dangerous. There were enough sun loungers, though I expected them to be cleaner. The master bathroom and the toilet by the entrance had a terrible smell. We were also charged by a few dogs while driving in and out of the area, but thankfully we were inside the car.

We’ve stayed here four times in two years, and it’s a comfortable house for a family holiday, close to everything and just like the photos. It’s clean and well equipped, and Mr. Nazım, the caretaker, sorts out problems quickly. The pool could use a bit more maintenance. The big concern is getting in and out of the site: reeds block the view of the road, and traffic goes fast on the main road, so an accident seems very possible. We only just managed to stop in time. Thanks for everything.

I can’t recommend this place. The water pressure was so low that we couldn’t use everything at once, and there was no air conditioning on the floor. We were also told to stop using the pool after a certain time because of a possible electrical leak, and that made us wary of using it at all. The villa manager confirmed there was an electricity problem. With the power so weak, even the lights wouldn’t work, and we ended up sitting in the dark.

We left and gave up on our vacation. Our family of seven had planned to stay for seven days, but after the authorities failed to act and nobody offered a solution, we had to move to another hotel. Hellovillam admitted the owner was at fault and the villa had problems, but we got no real help, despite the customer guarantee on their website and promises to address our complaint or move us to another villa. The listing hadn’t mentioned the pool restriction. The day after we arrived, they added a note to the website saying the pool couldn’t be used after 8 p.m. We’ve rented private pool villas for five years, and this was the first time we were told not to use one after 8 p.m. The attendant, Nazmi, said there might be an electrical leak when the pool lights were on, and they wouldn’t take responsibility if something happened. We spoke with the owner, Buse, and had the pool lights turned off, but then the garden was completely dark and we still couldn’t use the pool that evening. There were other serious problems around the house. The living room had no air conditioning and was extremely hot. There were air conditioners in the bedrooms, but one remote didn’t work. The lights flickered throughout the house because of low voltage, and running the dishwasher and washing machine at the same time wasn’t possible. Water flow was nearly nonexistent when three bathrooms were being used at once. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all, and the voltage problem caused our Dyson hair dryer to shut down and stop working. Even though it was described as a sheltered, conservative villa, the entrance to the neighboring villa’s garden goes right past the kitchen window.

This villa was appalling, and I wouldn’t recommend it. In 42-degree heat, the ground floor had no air conditioning. The showers couldn’t be used at the same time, and the lights flickered like disco lights. Staff told me all the villas there had the same insufficient-voltage problem. They also said the pool couldn’t be used after 8 p.m. because of an electrical issue, and they wouldn’t take responsibility if anyone went in after that. Even one star feels too generous. I feel for any families staying here, and hope people share their negative experiences so the problems can be fixed. There’s no real security either. Don’t be surprised if someone peeks through the living room window. The person in charge of cleaning said it had happened before.
