Root Redrock Villas Yalıkavak - Bodrum

The view is lovely, and the area is quiet and peaceful. Those were the positives, but we wouldn't return or recommend it to friends or family. During our stay, the power went out several times, the water was cut off completely once for about half an hour, and the hot water kept running out. The pool was very cold, despite the villa being advertised as heated, so we couldn't enjoy it as much as we had hoped. There were also no hooks in the shower area, a small but noticeable omission. The sauna glass door suddenly shattered while we were there, which was concerning. Management then tried to blame us, adding unnecessary stress.

The villa's location worked well for us, around a 10-minute drive from Yalıkavak Marina and its dining, shopping, and nightlife. At the villa, things felt serene and private, with the ocean stretching out below. It's a spectacular place, blending Art Deco architecture and elegant interiors with modern comfort. Breakfast was perfectly prepared every day, with a beautiful view. The service was warm, attentive, and discreet, and our host Kristina was always available and did all she could to make us comfortable. Every request was met with a smile and a real eagerness to make the stay go smoothly.

Root Redrock Yalikavak was a lovely choice for a quiet, restful getaway. I especially appreciated Kristina from guest relations, who was helpful, easy to reach, and full of good suggestions for places to eat and local attractions. She handled our bookings and checked that we were happy throughout the stay. The hospitality was excellent, and I highly recommend the hotel for a peaceful break and great service.

We could swim in our heated private pool even in the cooler months, with a view over Tilkicik Bay. Sunrise coffee on the terrace and evening drinks under the stars made the stay feel so calm and special. I came to Root Redrock Yalıkavak for a few days to rest and reset, and left already thinking about coming back this summer, for longer. We'd originally booked another villa, but Miss Canan kindly upgraded us to Villa A7. Her warmth and attention to detail shaped the whole stay. The place felt like The White Lotus on the Aegean cliffs, with Art Deco architecture, layered textures, clean lines, and earthy tones that fit the natural surroundings. The cinematic views and private terraces made every corner feel thoughtfully designed. It's beautiful, comfortable, and feels like luxury alongside nature.
