Escarlet Hotel

The best part of my stay was breakfast. I don't know if the standard room made a difference, but at $750 per night I expected better amenities. I wanted to pack my bags and LEAVEEE. On arrival, the pool, lobby, and reception looked pretty nice, and the receptionist was pleasant and accommodating. The standard room was decent but small, and the bed was ridiculously small for two people, even for me and I'm small. When I checked it, there were SEVERAL STAINS IN THE COVERS. I asked for a fresh sheet, but the replacement still had a big STAIN, so I didn't use those sheets. The person delivering it barged in without knocking or waiting for someone to let him in. The bathroom was small too. The towels were SMALL, CHEAP AND THIN. The second time I showered, one literally started tearing on my back 🤣🤣. The toilet brush had NO BRUSH ATTACHED to its handle 🤣🤣, and the paper towel dispenser was empty. This place is literally a mess.

My sister, niece, and I stayed at Escarlet Hotel earlier this month. It's simply beautiful, the customer service is on point, breakfast was lovely, and the pool is everything. Such a peaceful atmosphere, we loveeeee it! The price was affordable too. God's willing, we'll be back. Thank you, Kirby!

There are a few things that need work: the poolside tiles look nice but are hazardous when wet, and parking is inadequate. The hotel is still being developed, though that didn't take away from its charm. I stayed for a weekend and found it clean, homey, and full of potential. The service was impeccable, and the included breakfast was quite tasty.

The pool is awesome, especially with the pretty lights at night, and there's a nice seating area beside it where you can relax. Breakfast was included in the price and was amazing. The chef was pleasant and happy to accommodate, and the man at reception was both professional and friendly. My room was lovely, with a TV, coffee-making facilities, a business desk that worked well for my laptop, and an en suite bathroom and shower. It's only a few minutes' drive from the airport or the port on Tobago's west side. A great choice for a business stopover or a romantic getaway. Recommended.
