The caretaker lives on the compound, so it was easy to reach someone when needed, and the pool was well maintained. My room was clean and tidy when I arrived, with fresh towels and spotless bed linen. It was more spacious than I expected for a place that isn't very modern, and had the basics I needed, including dishes and a toaster. The water pressure was great and the hot water stayed consistent throughout my stay. Comfortable, well kept, and I'd come back. The rooms looked like the photos.
It's a 30-second walk to the beach, right beside Tobago Plantations/Magdelena resort. The room was decent, though I found a dead roach under the dust pan. A few small changes could make this very good, like adding paper towels, possibly cleaning the room after a couple of days, improving the parking area, and replacing old fixtures such as the shower rods.
We had such a great stay ❤️❤️❤️ The suites are huge and super clean, with easy parking. It's really quiet, the view is great, and the beach is just a few seconds away.
The only drawback was the quality of the pull-out bed. Otherwise, our stay at Ocean Winds was amazing, with great service from Ronald, good rooms with air conditioning and appliances, and nice amenities like the pool. The hotel was comfortable and conveniently close to the sea port.
The kids loved the pool most, and I'd recommend Ocean Winds Hotel and go back soon. Our family loft was spacious and clean, with a fully equipped kitchen, though I still brought some of my cooking equipment. Customer service was great.
