Abriannas Inn

The mornings were a highlight for our group. We'd wake to the breakfast knock, then choose from Trinidadian bakes or fresh bread with eggs, buljol or meat, plus tea, juice, and coffee. Every meal was enjoyable. Cheryl kept the rooms spotless and checked that we were happy, while Mandy and little Nevaeh made sure we felt welcome too. I appreciated all the staff. The inn is much more impressive inside than its exterior suggests. Its five rooms each follow a flower and color theme, from Plumbago and Pink Hibiscus to Chaconia, Marigold, and Jade Vine. The thoughtful decor and facilities made each room feel special. Bathrooms had great fixtures and mirrors, an extractor fan, and grab bars by the shower and toilet. The beds were comfortable, the AC cooled the rooms well, and the WiFi was strong enough for 4K streaming. There's a TV too. When I come back to Trinidad, I know where I'll stay: at 10th Street and Jogie Road in San Juan.
