The hosts were warm and helpful, and breakfast was refreshing. The B&B sits on a scenic hilltop, and with some luck you can watch a sea of clouds from your room. If you’re driving, take care on the narrow single-lane access road from the main road, since traffic goes both ways and the nearest passing spot could be behind you or ahead. During peak cherry blossom season, private vehicles can’t enter Alishan National Park from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. There are shuttle buses from a large parking lot visible from the B&B.

We really enjoyed staying among the tea gardens, about a 40-minute drive from Alishan National Park. The owner was very hospitable and friendly, and offered us tea. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean too, though you may come across insects since the place is right in nature. Breakfast was nice, and the communal area was tidy and clean. If you’re driving, watch for the entrance at the bend in the road, as it’s a gravel track.

We stayed three nights and had a great experience. The staff were exceptional, and the inn boss gave us free rides each day to nearby bus stops since we weren’t driving. They also took us to various attractions and offered an oolong tea tasting. Our room was quiet, clean, comfortable, and had an excellent sunrise view. It would have been perfect with a sofa or armchairs, though there wasn’t much room after fitting in two queen beds. The common areas were spacious. Breakfast was good in quality, but could have had more variety.

The sunrise view was lovely, and the room was extremely clean with a very comfortable bed. We were staying in the middle of a tea garden, which we loved. Since we weren’t driving, the kind owner offered rides to and from the nearby shizhao bus stop. The owners were friendly and let us sample some of their homegrown tea before we left. I highly recommend the place, and the camellia tea oil chicken store at the bottom of the hill where this Minsu is located.

The owner was really helpful, picking us up and dropping us off at the bus station and showing us around. The rooms were very clean and had a wonderful view over the tea plantation. I had a wonderful time there.
