Clare Holiday B&B

Breakfast was a highlight for us: the owner's wife made a thoughtful meal that was both tasty and nutritious. The owner was kind and welcoming too, which made the stay really pleasant. I’d recommend it to families visiting Pingtung. 👍

The drive in follows a somewhat narrow path, but once there it feels like a little paradise. Mountain breezes and a whole sea of clouds made the view breathtaking. From the window, I could watch the rice fields, distant houses, layered mountains, and clouds shifting through the mist. It was the kind of scenery that settles you down. The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable, and you can tell the husband and wife who run the place put a lot of care into it. The hostess made a lovely breakfast. I especially liked the homemade roselle dried fruit, sweet and refreshing, along with smooth black coffee and fragrant milk tea. The host was friendly, funny, and thoughtful, and his blogging made it easy to chat with him. I left feeling the trip had been full of warmth and wisdom, and I’d definitely come back. May the Lord bless your family. As Psalm 127:1 says, “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” May God's peace and joy always fill this welcoming home.

I could easily spend a week at Kreel B&B. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, with a hanging chair, and the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet with hot water ready to go. From bed you can look out over onion fields toward Lilong Mountain, which is so relaxing. The homemade breakfast was delicious, especially the pickled lemon and hibiscus. The owners and hostess were warm and welcoming, and they told me about free activities and guided tours. Getting to nearby attractions is easy, transport is convenient, and there are convenience stores close by. Two days just felt too short. 🤩😁

My mother is over 80, and this was her first stay at a guesthouse. She was comfortable with the bed and pillows, enjoyed the breakfast, and found the owners kind and hospitable. I felt the same way about the experience.
