We only stayed one night. The bed had four pillows, and there was no noise from outside, so we slept well. The room and toilet were clean and met expectations. Most amenities were there, but no toothbrush or shaver, as Taiwan is moving toward environmental protection. From the lift through the walkway to the room, it looked luxurious, though the lobby was a bit dim. The shopping area is about a 10-minute walk behind the hotel.

The Japanese restaurant on the first floor surprised me with a very good dinner. There’s no menu, just a six-course set per person based on seasonal produce. Breakfast was okay, mostly Taiwanese food, with too few Western choices. The rooms are very nice and relatively new. This is on the newer side of Chiayi city and offers excellent value.

The staff were pleasant, but not very flexible with requests. Parking was a major hassle, with room for only about 20 cars. There’s no hotel play area for children, and guests have to pay extra for the kids’ zone next door, even with a discount. There’s no pool either, and breakfast was limited and lacked variety. For this price, the hotel felt expensive compared with similar resorts like Look Royal Resort, and the cost didn’t feel justified. It’s an okay option, but I wouldn’t recommend it for families with children; you may find better value elsewhere.

There are only a limited number of parking spaces underground, but the hotel has two or three subcontracted lots nearby, about a five-minute walk away. The lobby is simple, bright, and comfortable, and the room is spacious for its price in Taiwan. Breakfast was okay, though nobody cooks eggs or noodles for guests on site.
