The location worked well, about a seven-minute walk from the local station. They were flexible when I arrived late and quick to reply on Line, though I found getting into the hostel difficult. The room didn’t look like the online photos. It was cramped, with almost no space for belongings, and six beds were squeezed into a room with no ventilation or air conditioning. Someone nearby snored, and even earplugs didn’t let me sleep. I know snoring can’t be helped, but the close beds and lack of separation made it louder. The room had a code, but otherwise didn’t feel very secure. It felt expensive for what it was, though maybe the lantern festival pushed the price up. There was no sink by the toilets, so you have to walk past the kitchen to wash your hands, which didn’t seem very hygienic. I also couldn’t shower because no towels were provided, and it wasn’t clear where to get one.

The lobby was a nice place to relax, and guests can use the waffle maker any time, with waffle mix provided. I also liked having easy elevator access. The accommodation has a laid-back feel, and the location is great, just a short walk from the train station and right beside the art museum.

It’s a decent spot for a night, with a great location near the train station. The layout felt a bit maze-like when I first arrived, and the shower was really small. Apart from that, no complaints, and I’d stay again.

The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the kitchen had a waffle maker with mix, plus coffee and tea. The building itself is a little old, but the hotel area was absolutely fine and we had a comfortable stay. It’s also just a short walk from the train station, right next to the Chiayi art gallery, which was really good.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and it’s good for the price. The building’s a bit old, and the air conditioning in the hostel guests’ common area was broken. It got pretty warm, especially in the showers and bathrooms. The location is good, and the place was fairly clean.
