The climb up a steep slope with our luggage was worth it, though this homestay can be tricky to find. The place was thoughtfully decorated and cozy. The owner stayed right next door and walked her cat every day. When we asked for things late at night or the heater broke, she came over to check and sort it out. She made breakfast herself, too. On checkout day she offered to drive us and our luggage to the bus stop, then checked whether we'd made it onto the bus. We hadn't, XD.

We stayed here while hiking the Eryanping trail. The owner welcomed us warmly, and the room was clean and comfortable. The cat decorations were cute. 💯💯💯

A comfortable cabin in a quiet setting, just a four-minute walk from Lincuo bus stop. It's convenient for walking to the Tea and Mist trail, which connects to the Eryanping trail. The host was friendly and hospitable, and reachable on WhatsApp. There was some daytime noise from construction on the neighboring plot. Follow the attached photos to find Miao Home, since the Google map directions aren't right. 13 Mar25.

The room is a converted container, with the bathroom inside, but it was super comfortable and clean. The homestay has a good view, and the owner made a delicious, simple breakfast. A really comfortable place to stay.

Breakfast was the highlight for us, delicious enough that we looked forward to it each morning. My partner and I spent two great nights at Miao Homestay, where the host made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless, and she had thoughtfully left tea, coffee, Taiwanese snacks, and bottled water. We also got to meet her adorable cat, Hana. A cozy, comfortable, welcoming place, and one I'd highly recommend.
