The price seemed fair for the cleanliness and service, and I’d consider coming back. Parking is available if there’s a space, and breakfast is offered too. My room and bed were clean, and the bathroom was well kept, with towels, spare toothbrushes, and other basics. The beds could be more comfortable and the soundproofing could be better, but I still had a satisfactory stay.

The location was one good thing. In our room the Wi-Fi didn’t work, and the shower had no hot water and very weak pressure. The woman at reception was extremely difficult to communicate with, even using Google Translate.

For 900 NTD a night, this fell well below the standard. You can hear nearly everything in the hallway because the soundproofing is so poor. The shower pressure was weak, and without a curtain the wet floor became slippery and dangerous. The counter staff were friendly, and the location was good.

It’s tucked into a small lane, so it’s quiet, and only a few minutes from the train station. The room was clean and cozy, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast wasn’t a buffet, but it tasted good, and the restaurant is nicely decorated. My main issue was the Wi-Fi: I think there’s just one router per floor, so the signal indoors was terrible and disappeared completely at night during peak hours.

A great place to stay for a low price, and the staff made the stay lovely. Chiayi Station is a five-minute walk away. Breakfast can be added for just 50 NTD per person, and you can borrow a bike for free to get around the city. The bed was on the firm side.
