South Urban Hotel

I noticed one slightly stained bedsheet, sorry, I'm being picky. The room was beautiful and 99% spotless. I travelled with 6 elders, and they were full of praise. I'd still come back and stay here again.

Connie at the front desk was a total sweetheart, friendly, helpful, chatty, charismatic, and funny. The hotel is also in a great spot, with Wenhua Rd night markets a short walk away and a YouBike dock just across the road. Our gorgeous room had a huge, comfortable bed, and the rooms were unbelievably spacious. The bathrooms were lovely, and the breakfast buffet had delicious options. The gym was a letdown, just a few cardio machines, but that was a small downside among a lot of good things.

We had a pleasant stay in the deluxe double room. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a huge bathroom and bathtub. The front desk service was great, and they arranged a taxi to the hsr station for us. For food, you may need to walk a little farther to find eateries and restaurants.

The thermometer in one of our rooms was broken, making the whole stay very uncomfortable. I told the staff multiple times, but nobody tried to fix it. The toilet paper situation was just as bad: both of my rooms had only a few sheets left when we checked in during the evening. I called for more, and staff said they had no stock and insisted I wait until housekeeping returned the next day. I've stayed at many hotels and never before found one with no toilet paper for guests. What kind of place doesn't prepare basic necessities? I asked for a manager and was told they were understaffed and had none. An awful experience.
