After a long day of hiking, I had a really restful stay at Quan Ming Line Museum. The owners were such warm, friendly people. They helped me arrange the next day’s reservation and even gave me breakfast for free since I had another long hike ahead.

The location is handy, very close to a winery, and the staff are friendly. You can get an English breakfast. But the rooms feel small for what they charge, and they don't provide a full set of toiletries. It doesn't feel like good value.

We reached the hotel around 9 PM on October 18th, and parking nearby was easy. At first there was only a boy, around 7 to 9, at the front desk. When I asked whether an adult was around, he said he could check, which was helpful, and the adults arrived shortly after. Our group was four adults and one five-year-old, split between a triple room and a double. One of the double rooms had no bathtub, so we paid extra to change to a triple. For six people, the average came to 3182 yuan a night, without breakfast, which seemed like a standard rate. The floor was reasonably clean, but some bathroom details were worrying: the clothes hanger was missing screws, the other three were rusty, the drain chain was broken and hadn't been replaced, and there was old hair in the drain. The bathroom sealant was moldy, probably from dampness, but that didn't seem like a major issue. There were only electronic locks, no regular door locks. I also didn't trust the kettle enough to use it for formula because I couldn't tell whether it had been cleaned. Noise was the biggest problem. The soundproofing is poor, and water from upstairs could be heard around midnight and again at 7 AM. The main road was noisy too, so a higher floor may be preferable. Facilities need better checking and maintenance. If you need an invoice for reimbursement, ask for it proactively. There are safety concerns with the first-floor triple room building: no front desk or staff, no lock on the room door from inside, just a combination lock on the outside. That could be concerning if all the guests are women. On the plus side, the mattress was very soft and the memory foam pillow was great. The air conditioning cooled the room from about 32 to 25 degrees Celsius in around 20 minutes. There's a private parking lot downstairs. Breakfast vouchers can be bought before 10 PM on check-in day, but breakfast wasn't included for us, so I can't comment on the food.

The location is convenient, and there's a strawberry farm nearby where you can pick your own. The beds are very soft and comfortable. Unfortunately, the bathroom has a lot of broken things that haven't been repaired, and some fixtures are rusty. It is pet-friendly, but only one dog is allowed in each room, with an extra charge of 200 yuan.

We stayed in the newer building, where the room was spacious and the price was low. Breakfast was included, a simple Chinese meal, and tea bags were provided. The TV had YouTube, and the big floor-to-ceiling windows were lovely. The bed was comfortable, though the pillows were just okay, and the front desk staff were friendly. There were several moldy spots in the bathtub and the toilet seat was a bit damaged. Strawberries cost 550 per pound, haha 😆, while picking them freely cost $600. The kids were happy, so that was fine. One guest smoked downstairs and the smoke spread through the whole building, which was very uncivilized. We didn't smoke in the nearby parking lot, which was large enough.
