The staff were especially helpful and friendly. Yui and Jie went out of their way to sort out my transport problem since I don’t drive, and I’m really grateful to them for making my stay in Douliu township enjoyable. The room was very large, with a private parking lot right in front. Some rooms have an elevator and others only stairs, so ask for one with elevator access if an older guest needs help. Mac is across the road, and Carrefour is about a five-minute walk away for anything you may have forgotten.

The room was clean and nice, and we thought the rate was very reasonable for what we got. The jacuzzi tub was a fun extra, and my husband enjoyed the spa shower. I booked it for a night away with him, and we’re hoping to come back sometime.

I managed to get the last room over the Double Ten long weekend, and the price was still reasonable. We stayed in the Egyptian-themed room, which was enormous, with a hot tub, steam room, a water-jet shower, and another shower with a steam-room setup. This is probably my favorite motel in Taiwan. The TV remote was the one thing I couldn’t stand, it felt and worked like a McDonald’s toy. Breakfast could use some improvement too.

The price was decent, and I liked having private parking plus plenty of fancy bathroom space. It’s the kind of motel you’d expect, which suits me when I’m traveling around Asia. As usual with places like this, though, don’t expect much from breakfast.
