里Mi背包青旅 Hostel

A pleasant stop during my cycling trip around Taiwan. My room was clean and nice, and the owner was friendly and had lots of useful local information.

This hostel felt cozy and homey, and it was convenient. My bunk bed room had its own refrigerator, washer, and hair dryer, all available to use. I came back soaked after getting caught in heavy rain, and Miss Shih kindly lent me a shoe dryer. I hadn’t expected that, and she was a lifesaver as I traveled around Taiwan. The place is so clean, and she’s warm-hearted. Highly recommended.

There’s a washing machine in the room, which is a pretty unusual extra, though unfortunately it wasn’t working during my stay. The room also has a refrigerator, and you can wait comfortably inside while doing laundry. The landlady understands what backpackers need and is super nice. The guesthouse is close to Fuli Station, and Chishang is about a 10-minute scooter ride away. If you can’t find a good place in Chishang, this is worth considering. The price is reasonable, and I’d recommend it.
