The sea view is a real plus, and the homestay sits right by the beach. Inside, the rooms were neat and clean, and the staff were friendly and had plenty of useful information. It felt cozy and homey.

I’d happily book this place again the next time I come. It was a nice place to stay!
Everything was fine. A good homestay.
The information about the dive shop wasn’t useful. The owner knew very little about it, so we had to go there ourselves and call to get answers. We were also told that contacting the owner at Asahi Onsen would get us a discount, but when we did, he said we had to go there and buy the items at full price. During our three-night stay, we killed two large cockroaches in the room. The owner's family also woke us up twice.
We spent a lot of time relaxing in the backyard. Step outside and you could catch the sunset or see the stars, and take lovely photos without going anywhere. The room itself was spacious and clean, with a pretty sea view, though it wasn’t especially luxurious. Staff would sometimes sit by the door and chat with guests, which made the place feel welcoming. At the port, the owner and his assistant greeted us warmly and patiently explained Green Island’s attractions. His wife was friendly too and worked out a flexible check-in time for us. A very chatty Hong Kong assistant was also a big help with our luggage. We had a fantastic vacation and would choose this place again on our next trip to Green Island.
