Shiacare Hostel

The owner helped us work out our plans for the day, and one evening we even watched a movie with the family over dinner. Shiacare B&B felt like a great place for a family stay. The hosts were so kind and generous, and the room was clean and comfortable for resting after a long day out. Breakfast was the best we had on the trip, better than some full hotel buffets, with fresh food like fish and vegetables.

The managers were so kind and welcoming that I was genuinely touched. The rooms were clean, and the atmosphere felt warm. I haven't met people this nice in Taiwan. You can stay here without worrying. Breakfast is free, well prepared, and delicious, and they'll also make you a free lunch box if you're going somewhere on the island around noon. The managers speak English if your Chinese isn't very good. I'd definitely book here again if I return to Green Island. Don't worry。

Selina and Ian, who run Shiacare, made our family holiday. They picked us up at the airport, arranged a scooter, did pottery and fishing with the kids, and helped us change our travel plans after our flight was cancelled. Those are just a few examples of how they went out of their way for us. The place is in a great spot away from town, near the hot springs and mountain walks. The rooms were great, and the accommodation had a games room for the kids and a nice big dining area. Staying here was one of our best decisions. We'll definitely be back!

The quiet side of the island made this B&B a really relaxing place to stay. You can reach all the main attractions by scooter in about 15 minutes. Our host got in touch before we arrived to arrange luggage pickup at Lyudao harbor and helped us rent two electric scooters. Fantastic stay.
