Cest Le Vie II

I booked two nights and ended up staying nine. The hotel was that good. It’s a lovely boutique place close to the beach, with clean, smart rooms and a large TV with YouTube and Netflix. There are several room types. I tried two: a peaceful, huge room on the ground floor with a large bath, and a smaller one with a nice view, balcony and small bath. Breakfast options vary and cost NT$200. The food was good. I recommend it without reservation ❤️❤️❤️

The room was a good size, had everything I needed, and the bed was comfortable and on the softer side, especially by Taiwanese standards. The hotel was very clean and well placed for both the bus station and beach. My scores: service 9/10, location 10/10, breakfast 10/10, cleanliness 10/10, room and facilities 9/10, value 9/10. I paid $2,784 in Oct, and my overall rating was 9.5/10. There are lots of complimentary biscuits around the hotel, plus brewed coffee. Breakfast is an optional $200 per person for a generous four-course set, with vegetarian and vegan choices. Sharing is allowed, and the portions make it good value. The quality was great, but it only starts at 8 a.m. and serving actually begins a bit later. We had to skip it on our second day because of an early bus, which was a shame. The hotel can arrange scooter rentals and have one delivered to the property. At $450 per 24 hours, with no flexible hourly extensions, it's on the expensive side. I'd book the first 24 hours, then decide whether I needed a few extra hours, perhaps 2-4.

The owner walked us through our spacious room, which had a stunning ocean view, and helped us rent a scooter. She also gave us a map of the area. There were coffee, tea and snacks in both the lobby and room. The fridge had a bottle of wine for purchase, along with glasses and a corkscrew. The bathroom had a shower and bathtub, and they provided hair conditioner, which isn't standard in hotels here.

There’s free parking, and you can get a really good breakfast at the hotel. The room was clean and cute, with the beach close by and restaurants nearby. There are lots of activities to do.
