The room was comfortable and clean, and the price was reasonable. The auntie and the housekeeper were both very friendly. There was a barbecue, an electric mahjong table, and a gas stove for making soup, plus a paddling pool right by the entrance. Shops were conveniently close, and I also came across some great merchants during the trip. It was a great experience.

We were a group of eight and all came away very satisfied. The room at Whale House was spotless, though the bed was softer than I liked. Karaoke was great, and the landlady was helpful and easygoing. She's earned our thumbs up, and this will be our first choice in Hengchun next time.

The hostess really made our stay. When my son became unwell in the middle of the night and was receiving an IV at the hospital, she came to see me in person. She worried I might not know the area and came right away to check on things. She felt like family, and told me not to rush packing or checking out until my son felt better. I'll definitely return, and give her a big thumbs up. We booked two houses this time for our two-day Kenting trip, since there were more of us. The host has another nice B&B too, and I'd recommend staying if you get the chance. At Little Fish House, the hostess and housekeeper were incredibly kind and helpful. They explained the facilities when we checked in: a mahjong area, barbecue space, family game area, and even a small pool that the kids loved. The one drawback was the barbecue spot beside the main road. People looked over at us while waiting at the traffic lights, so it didn't feel very private. I almost wanted to invite them over for hot pot and a drink! 😂🤣🤣🍺

It's a great B&B for families or groups of friends sharing a booking. The hostess is warm and welcoming, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and there are a karaoke bar and electric mahjong table.
