Gloria Manor

The shuttle made getting around town easy, and the mountain location was still convenient for downtown Kenting. I also enjoyed walking through the mountaintop community. The view of the mountains and greenery from the back of Gloria Manor is lovely, and the hotel itself is beautiful. Breakfast had lots of good choices, especially the radish cake, which was my favorite. Thanks to Peter Chen for fixing my suitcase, Simone Shen for helping with bookings and giving great advice, and Kevin Cheng for taking me to the mountaintop community. They made the stay really memorable.

The staff really made the stay for me. They were thorough, answered all our many questions, helped us call taxis, and arranged transport to the bus stop. Scott checked us in and walked us through the amenities, dining hours, and even the air conditioning controls, all without us having to ask. The rooms were clean and nice, and we enjoyed the food at mu restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The hotel’s location and views are amazing, and its free shuttle can drop you off in different areas. Our stay at gloria manor went beyond what I expected.

MU Restaurant deserves a visit even if you aren’t staying at the hotel. Dinner was a highlight, so don’t just stop at breakfast. The dishes were delicate and flavorful, made with high-quality local ingredients. Gloria Manor made it easy to enjoy Kenting’s natural scenery, even though we were initially worried about getting around from a hotel inside a national forest. Once we arranged the shuttle ahead of time, reaching the night market and Kenting National Park was easy. Staff could also arrange taxis for longer trips. During our 3-night, 4-day stay we explored comfortably, then came back to quiet time among the forest, trees, and ocean views. We weren’t sure we’d be able to swim in mid-December, but Xiaowan Beach and Baisha Beach turned out to be unforgettable parts of the trip. The hotel arranged a snorkeling tour too, which we loved. Every staff member was exceptionally kind, and the whole stay felt smooth and stress-free. Cathy communicated promptly and clearly before we arrived, and Irene welcomed us warmly and helped us throughout. It was such a beautiful vacation that we’d love to come back every year.

We left feeling refreshed. The property has a calm, welcoming feel, and it never seemed crowded. The rooms are spacious and nicely designed, with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Waking up to that scenery was a highlight, and the food was fresh and flavorful at both breakfast and dinner. Gloria Manor sits away from the busy tourist spots, so it’s a peaceful place to unwind. Getting around is still easy, with the complimentary shuttle running every 20 minutes to Kenting Street and other main attractions. For me, it was a great mix of comfort, natural beauty, and convenience. I’d happily stay again on my next trip to Kenting.
