The main street is only a two-minute walk away, handy for eating and drinking, then relaxing on the balcony with the air conditioning blasting indoors. I've stayed in both the south-facing sea-view room, which had a bigger room and bathroom, and the only north-facing land-view balcony room on the top floor. I actually preferred the northern view, looking down on a relatively quiet street and watching partygoers return to their hotels. The people-watching reminded me of motels in Miami, New Orleans, or even Lisbon. Onsite services are very limited. It's a budget-friendly family business, with no kitchen, just a water dispenser in the hallway.

The manager and his assistant deserve a special thanks for helping me arrange a rental car, since I'm a foreigner who doesn't speak Chinese. That extra help made the trip for me. My fourth-floor room had an amazing view, and the hotel is a great budget option between the beach and night market. One tip: turn left as you leave, then take the next left for a small lane that leads straight to the middle of the night market. The photos I uploaded were taken from my balcony and from the beach across the street.

Easy to find, with restaurants and souvenir shops nearby, and the hotel is close to the main street. The room was good, with cold air conditioning and a hot shower.

I spent three nights here. Good value for the money, with Kenting Beach and Kenting Night Market nearby. I'd recommend getting a sea-view room.
