The boss was so kind and waited up for us to check in, even though we arrived close to 2 a.m. We were taking part in the TBA 620km Four Lighthouses Cycling Challenge, held last Nov.8/9 2024. While we were in Kaohsiung, we called the hotel to say we’d be arriving late at midnight, and the boss said he would wait. We were very grateful for that hospitality. The location was great, close to different establishments, and the area was quiet enough to sleep peacefully. There were also lots of convenience stores nearby for when we got hungry in the middle of the night. I’ll definitely stay here again when I return to Kenting. Thank you, sir.

Right in the heart of Kenting, with the night market and forest recreation area immediately accessible. The rooms were sparse, but very clean and tidy. I didn’t see any bedbugs or other bugs. The balcony was nice, and the fridge kept the beers cold perfectly. The room power shuts off when you leave with the key, as an energy-saving measure. You could try disconnecting the card from the deadbolt key, but that would be disrespectful. Everything was awesome, and I’d love to come back.

The room was clean, and the hosts were helpful with arranging tours and rides around KenTing. Our balcony room was a nice place to enjoy the evening breeze, though the lights went out around 9:54 on Friday night. The front desk said they had switched them off because it was late, so we had to make do with light from inside the room. Around 10:20, the host noticed us sitting in the dark while he was helping a car park in the garage, and asked the hostess to turn the balcony lights back on. We were able to enjoy them for the rest of the night. The service was above average, and the location is right in the middle of everything in KenTing.

The night market is only ten steps away, and the beach is about a five-minute walk. The house and room were lovely and clean, and the people there were friendly and helpful. What more do you need for a good holiday? Happyyyyyy!
