Kenting Seawall Inn 112

We stayed in the newly renovated building, and the room was nicely designed, clean, and perfectly acceptable. There are two buildings. The hotel is an easy walk from the popular night market, which made things very convenient. If you're lucky, you might even see people setting off fireworks at night. Breakfast was healthy and nice, and the coffee shop made really good coffee. It was a lovely way to start the day, especially traveling with kids. We had a great trip to Kenting and were glad we found this hotel. It felt like one of the better places along the streets near the night market.

The room was very basic, and the stiff plastic slippers gave me blisters, so I had to wear my own. Breakfast came with a voucher, but you have to book a day ahead because seating is limited and just one woman prepares it. It's served at another hotel by the sea wall, a few doors away at No. 130. The meal was mediocre: a small portion of plain salad, scrambled egg, one meat that changes daily, such as pork sausage or sliced pork, and cold red tea. Coffee costs extra. On my third night, my own indoor slippers had disappeared after housekeeping cleaned the room. The receptionist called the housekeepers, who denied taking or misplacing them. Nobody investigated further, apologized, or offered a solution. That was handled very unprofessionally.

The balcony's sea view was my favorite spot, especially for a relaxed sunset. The room is small but cozy, with a well-planned layout, a balcony, and a bathtub facing the sea. Breakfast is hearty too. Kenting moves at a slow pace, just what you need.

The rooms are tidy and spacious enough for a few vacation days. The hotel feels cozy, and its location is ideal if you want to be away from the noise of Kenting's main street and night market. I loved waking up to the sea view from the balcony at sunrise.
