What a great experience!

They call themselves pet-friendly, but then ask you to wipe your dog’s paws before coming inside. Don’t complain about the price of wet wipes, though. Sorry, my dog had walked through the red dirt outside and needed more than ten wipes to get clean. The owner’s wife agreed to let us have breakfast on her balcony 🥣, and I really appreciate the owner bringing it to us. I’d been planning to go back. But the owner’s nagging ruined our morning 💢. Please have your arguments in private. And walking in without knocking or asking? Nobody was changing at the time, but that’s still so rude. I rolled my eyes so hard 🙄. At least the owner’s wife knocked and asked. We were afraid of cockroaches and asked if we could eat indoors 🍽️. They only said not to eat on the bed. Who stays at a guesthouse and doesn’t bring food into the room? Sorry, we bought lots of food and ate it on the balcony that night: braised duck wings, smoked duck wings, fries, fried dumplings, fried milk, QQ eggs, barbecue, and Korean soju! Breakfast wasn’t worth it at 3000 baht a night. The plates were huge and mostly empty, and the food wasn’t tasty or filling. The landlady emphasized New Zealand but forgot some black tea. The milk tea had no flavor at all. Am I not healthy enough?! This was the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. I won’t come back. I do want to give Caofenmu B&B a shout-out, though. The breakfast there is plentiful, delicious, and full of care. They deliver it to the room, where you can eat indoors, then clean up yourself! 👍👍👍

There’s a grassy spot outside where pets can run around, and the scenery is lovely. We came in winter, when the soft mountain breeze made it easy to sleep comfortably. A really relaxing place.

The view was wonderful, and you can tell the owner takes care to keep the place up. Our room was roomy, comfortable, and very clean.
