The interior looked cool, but the stay was a complete failure. Ants came out of holes in the walls and crawled onto the bed while I was sleeping. There were also lots of dead ants on both sides of the entrance that hadn't been cleaned up when I arrived. The guesthouse looked quite different from its photos, which left me disappointed right away.

We were seven adults and a baby, and the quiet location in an alley meant other guests didn't bother us. A few greedy kittens would sometimes come by asking for food, and we tried not to disturb the neighbors. There's a private pool behind the guesthouse for a dip or a small pool party. We brought a pile of barbecue supplies because we thought there wouldn't be equipment, but the host had a grill ready. Bring your own charcoal, gas torch, grill rack, and other consumables. Breakfast is there, but you prepare it yourself. The host leaves eggs, toast, black tea, milk, and cheese in the fridge, and the kitchen has a black ceramic stove and frying pan. The pan seemed to have been used by another guest on the grill, and was a little warped, so it didn't sit flat on the stove and was awkward to use. There are two rooms, each with a queen bed. Even two strong men weighing over 100 pounds each could turn over easily, and we fell asleep fast, maybe because we were tired or because the beds were comfortable. There are mosquitoes and little insects around, some get into the house, which is hard to avoid this close to nature. The landlord provides mosquito coils, though our own swatters were more practical. The bathroom is a converted addition with a somewhat low ceiling, barely enough for me. Even with that small drawback, we had an excellent stay. A nice place for a group of friends to spend a relaxed weekend.

The bed was comfortable, and having a kitchen counter and big dining table was handy, but the hygiene really needs attention. There were lots of mosquitoes, and the dining room had dead ones and ants all over. The dishes and utensils weren't clean either. I understand insects come with a natural setting, but please clean up so I'm not stepping on bugs as soon as I walk in. The pool was very dirty, with dead insects, leaves, and mud, and it looked as though the water hadn't been changed.

I've stayed at Guangying28 B&B twice, once with friends and once with family, and had a great time both visits. It's quiet, cozy, and private, so it works really well for families or groups of friends booking the whole place. Highly recommend it.
