I booked and paid for the room on Agoda, and had no issues. It was comfortable and spacious, and the tub was nice. The location worked well too, with an easy walk to the night market vendors and the beach not too far away.

A couple of things to know before you book: there’s no elevator, so you’ll need to carry your bags up to the third or fourth floor. They only take cash, with no credit cards. And although the photos show a sea view, there’s barely any view of the sea in reality.

The room was nothing like the pictures, and we didn’t even get a proper window. It faced the neighboring house, with only a washing machine between us; that machine started up at 7am. At night the night market was loud, and the window wouldn’t shut properly. We were very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The location was handy, about a five minute walk to the beach, with the church right across the street. Our room was spacious and clean, and the price was reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful, though the bed sheets could use some improvement.

No elevator, which is a downside. The room had a good bed and air conditioning, plus a nice view. It’s also well located for the market street.
