Getting in and out can be tough without a car, so look into public transport or arrange a taxi if you aren’t driving. It’s a remote spot. For EV and Tesla drivers, there’s a Tesla destination charger on site, so you can start each morning with a full battery. The rooftop bathtub is a lovely place to unwind under a sky full of stars, with no light pollution. Our room was nicely decorated, the bathroom was clean, and the toilet was like a high tech one in Japan. The one drawback was that there’s no fan to remove hot air or smells. Breakfast was tasty Taiwanese food. You’re supposed to choose from the menu by 10 the night before, but the owner kindly served us even though we ordered later. From our room, the garden and view were lovely, with the ocean and cliffs greeting us in the morning. There were little turtles and puppies on the grass, so cute. The location is right next to Maobitou, which in my opinion is the best place for stargazing.
