The building felt secure, with access codes that change each day, and I could keep my bike in the room. The room was clean and had air conditioning and a dehumidifier. Small extras included slippers, a water jug and cups, toothpaste, and towels. Communication through the app and LINE was prompt, and we arranged for someone to meet us so we could pay cash on arrival. Soundproofing was good. Really good value, and I’d stay here again.
There’s no in-person reception, and payment is requested in advance through LINE. You can’t use it without a Taiwanese phone number, and the arrangement didn’t feel very safe to me. This wasn’t disclosed until after I’d completed the reservation through Booking.
There’s no in-person reception, and guests are asked to pay in advance through LINE. Neither that nor self-service check-in was mentioned on booking.com, so it came as a surprise afterward. Booking.com advises against these kinds of online transfers, and the hotel refuses to use Booking.com’s trusted chat. Several of the 5-star reviews look bought or fake to me. All of this made me feel unsafe. They did allow me to cancel for free, but I lost time going back and forth with them.
A comfortable room in Hsinchu for a good price. The Indonesian lady was very helpful and made it easier to get into the room.
It’s a nice, cosy place very close to the train station. The number-code door lock made access easy, with no key to lose. There’s a water dispenser outside the room, and the owner was thoughtful enough to provide a 3-in-1 phone charging cable. Wi-Fi and air conditioning were very strong, and we slept great. Thank you!
