Before Sunrise B&B

We’d definitely stay here again. The location worked really well, close to the beach and night market and not too far from the train station. The room was clean and nicely designed. We had to change our plans on the day because of a small hotel issue, and Jane was very kind and accommodating about it.

Our balconies looked out over the Pacific Ocean, and it was easy to get to the beach for long walks or rent a bicycle. There’s also an elevator, which is handy if you have large suitcases and a room on an upper floor. We’ll come back to Before Sunrise if we’re in Hualien again, it has a special place in our hearts. Jane and her dog Waka gave us such a warm welcome, and Jane was always checking that we were comfortable. When my son was sick, she made sure he was getting food and fluids and recovering well. Our family really appreciated how much she cared. We’re big foodies, and she shared clear directions to lots of great places to eat, including QR codes linked to google maps. Communication was smooth and clear even before we arrived. An absolute gem in Hualien.

We spent four nights at Before Sunrise B&B. The room had beautiful ocean views, and the space was comfortable, thoughtfully put together, and had a homey feel with a touch of understated luxury. The host welcomed us so warmly and knew the surrounding area well. Hualien is a charming town to explore, and Taroko National Park is a short drive or taxi ride away. The night market and several good restaurants are also within a pleasant walk. Before Sunrise B&B has a lovely atmosphere and a great location.

My boyfriend and I felt completely welcome here, and it made for a special stay. The place is beautifully designed, with lots of thoughtful little details, right by the beach in Hualien. The host was incredibly helpful with suggestions for places to visit and eat.
