Breakfast was a favorite, and the room was clean and roomy, with two double beds. The staff were so friendly, and the bathroom had both a walk-in shower and a bathtub. It’s about a three-minute walk to Hualien train station, though downtown is 10-15 minutes away by taxi. I’d stay here again if I wanted to be near the station. Definitely worth the money.

There are free washing machines and a dryer on the roof, though you can buy detergent or softener at reception. The dryer took a long time to get my laundry properly dry, which was a hassle. On the first floor, a small cafe has late-night snacks like instant noodles, crackers, and packet drinks, a nice touch. Our room was large, and I liked the cushioned bench under the TV. It gave us extra seating, shoe storage, and somewhere to leave our bags. The hotel felt new, modern, and clean. A water dispenser sits outside the rooms on every floor, but they provide a glass pitcher and cups rather than bottled water. Breakfast was okay. You need to order the set in advance, and the buffet table has a limited choice of bread, cereal, and drinks. The hotel is a very short walk from Hualien train station, in a quiet area. For more food and shopping options in the old part of town, I’d take a taxi. Reception can call one for you.

The staff were all so warm and friendly, and breakfast was lovely. Our room looked clean and new, and I loved the heated toilet seat with its bidet. 😍

Just a five-minute walk from the train station, with a great view and a really clean room. Breakfast was Gongzhengpork bao. Recommend it to travelers.
