The stairs were a bit of a pain with all our heavy luggage. Otherwise, it was a great-value, clean, well-maintained place with a friendly, very accommodating owner. We got to choose breakfast, which the owner bought for us that morning, and there was a nice dining setup on the first floor. We enjoyed our stay in November 2016.

The owner was very thoughtful and even gave us a box of tiramisu. They also left two large cases of bottled water for us to drink. The place was very clean and worked well for a family trip. Our three-day stay felt like excellent value for money.

The room was clean and comfortable, and we all slept well. Even though the hotel is near the railway, the soundproofing was excellent and it wasn’t noisy at all. There was a kids’ playroom, plus a mahjong table and karaoke room for adults, and even a semi-automatic coffee machine for us to use. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, explained the room facilities, and quickly helped whenever we had questions. They also gave us a box of tiramisu cake, a Hualien local specialty. It happened to be our child’s birthday the next day, so thank you so much, owner! My family and I had a fantastic two-day stay at Colorful Nest Hotel. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it. I’ll definitely come again! 👍👍 ♡♡

I slept soundly and felt comfortable during my stay. The rooms were neat and clean, and the landlady was so welcoming. Highly recommended!

The hot and cold water kept changing. The quilt had a strange smell, like it hadn’t been washed 😔. There were also lots of mosquitoes. I hope the owner can improve these things.
