Our ocean-facing room was so convenient for checking the waves, even from bed or from the spacious bathroom. Beibin surf spot is only a five-minute walk away, making this a great place for surfers. The bathroom has both a shower and a jacuzzi tub. The room was spotless, comfortable, and seemed freshly remodeled. Staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful, and the free B1 parking with an elevator straight to our floor was a nice perk. Fairy Tale Motel is a great place to stay in Hualien City whether you surf or not. Highly recommend.

We booked three nights and liked it so much that we added two more. The rooms were spacious and clean, and we had beautiful views. The price is great for the quality, with free water every day and snacks in the minibar. There’s also free bike rental, which is especially handy for international visitors. They have 24/7 reception and parking, so it works well for a road trip by car, too. Watch the sunset from your room, then soak in the jacuzzi after a long day. Highly recommended for young travelers or anyone on a budget. Definitely worth a visit, and we’ll be back. Thanks!

We stayed one night and found it good value. The room was clean and spacious, and the shower was hot with strong pressure. I was pleasantly surprised to find a jacuzzi in the bathroom.

Breakfast isn’t included, and the stay is fine for one night. The main problem is that the windows don’t open. After three nights of using the jacuzzi every day and hanging lots of wet surfing clothes in the room, it became a humid cave. The jacuzzi is a bit small for two, and the lights along the window frames stay on all the time, which is annoying.

Having our own car park was handy. The room could be better, especially the bathroom. It’s huge, but the shower area and ventilation both need improvement.
