Right by the beach, with an unbeatable ocean view from the room. Breakfast was so generous, more than a dozen dishes of food and fruit, and we couldn't finish even half. The room was very clean and had high-tech features like a 7-D theater and music room. You can also take in a panoramic view of the surroundings from the top floor. Highly recommend, a great place to stay!

We checked into Water Moon on the fourth day of Lunar New Year in 2026, and we're so grateful to Vice President Lai and Deputy Manager Hsieh Wei-teng. Our family came to Hualien because of the Mother Goddess of Sheng'an Temple. I'm a mother who has had spinal surgery, and with the Mother Goddess's blessing everything went smoothly. We made a promise that when my health improved, we'd return to thank her. Many years passed, but we never forgot. We drove from Kaohsiung through the Lunar New Year traffic, and the trip took more than eight hours. After visiting nearby attractions, we prayed at Sheng'an Temple and reached the hotel at 7:00 PM. Deputy Manager Xie at the front desk was incredibly helpful, and we were lucky to meet General Manager Lai as well. The bed felt too firm for me, so he kept looking for ways to make it comfortable and restful, and even upgraded us to the Queen's Room. They were so hospitable to our family of three. I was deeply touched by the help we received while traveling. We know it was our own fault, but everyone at Water Moon was concerned we'd be too tired to order takeout. They even had the restaurant prepare three dinners for us. We're truly grateful. The facilities and space are excellent. We chose Water Moon because we rarely travel far and wanted somewhere comfortable and pleasant. The palace-like room design is just what girls love, and our son kept saying how beautiful it was. At Water Moon, we felt so well cared for. We're an ordinary family, and it's rare and precious for us to stay somewhere so nice. The service was exceptional, more than five stars, and treated us like family. The facilities at Water Moon Resort are meticulously designed. We recommend it to anyone visiting Hualien. This distant trip is one we'll treasure, and we'll always remember the care and help we received. Deputy Manager Hsieh, thank you for encouraging our son and cheering him on 💪. Boys need to work harder 😊, and he should help his father take good care of his mother. Thank you, he definitely will. Maybe one day he'll bring his girlfriend to visit you 😊. Hualien is a wonderful place, with beautiful mountains, water, and scenery, and incredibly warm-hearted people. We took lots of photos to look back on and share with friends and family. We spent two days and one night in Hualien with family and stayed at the iconic "Water Moon Seaview Resort" in Qixingtan. Everyone came away with a great impression and thought it was absolutely perfect. The morning view from the scenic terrace was breathtaking, with the Pacific Ocean and ships in sight. Getting up early felt blissful. The meals were plentiful and exquisite, made with local ingredients and served on Polish handmade ceramic tableware. The presentation, aroma, and taste all made for an unforgettable experience. The resort's palace-like decor mixes Baroque and Middle Eastern elements, with crystal chandeliers, hand-painted ceilings, and European vintage furniture throughout. It's easy to see why it's known as one of Taiwan's most beautiful hotels. Our elders were especially impressed by the service team. The elegant check-in chairs, made from wood and seashells, stayed in our memory. Front desk staff were friendly and professional, explained the surroundings and room type before check-in, and proactively checked everyone's dining preferences. When each dish arrived, they introduced the local ingredients on the plate. We could feel the whole team cared about their work. Hualien is worth another visit. We highly recommend the beauty of Qixingtan and the "Moonlight on the Water" at Qixingtan. It's a top choice for a seaside resort.

We spent our first wedding anniversary at the Qixingtan Water Moon Resort Hotel, and from arrival to departure the whole stay felt dreamlike. The lavish decor, antique furniture, and beautiful ornaments showed the owner's big spending and distinctive taste. Breakfast was both delicious and plentiful, with every plate looking like a work of art. I can't find the words for the experience. I think you have to stay there yourself to understand it.
