I was having trouble getting a response from my Airbnb host, and the team at Kadda Hotel stepped in to make things easy. Even though I wasn't staying there, they were professional and very willing to help. They arranged a taxi for me at short notice and made room for my large bicycle bag. I'm grateful for their kindness. That level of service is rare, and I'd recommend Kadda Hotel to anyone visiting Hualien.

The pool is shallow, but it's long enough to swim laps, and there are free bikes for exploring the nearby paths, beach, and night market. We spent two nights here and were very happy with the stay. The hotel was clean, with great amenities and a good breakfast buffet selection. Staff were extremely helpful and connected us with a car rental company so we could drive through the Taroko Gorge. I'd highly recommend it.

It's a great base for the bicycle routes nearby, with a good selection of bikes if you don't bring your own. We had a wonderful stay at Kadda hotel. The bright, spacious hotel has a nice pool and gym, and the staff looked after us so well. They were always welcoming and friendly.

The breakfast was still fresh and ready even though we arrived near the end of service, and nobody made us feel rushed. It's good quality, too. I also liked the well-kept, good quality bikes, especially since the hotel is right by Hualien's bike trails and you can get out into nature without a car or scooter. The pool was beautiful and clean, and the gym was clean and well equipped. Every room has a balcony with a nice port view. Honestly, one of the best hotels I've stayed at while living in Taiwan. The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and polite.

The rooms can get noisy because the walls are thin, and there's not much parking onsite, though plenty of street spaces are available. This small hotel has a modern feel, nice views, and friendly staff. It's better suited to short stays, since rooms aren't serviced during your stay. Breakfast is a simple buffet.
