Lovely place, and the cats are super nice.

The cats were well cared for, and my room was clean and comfortable. There was a water bottle and cookies in the room, a dispenser on the second floor, and a little pie appeared on my door the next morning. The owner asked when I'd arrive and had the air conditioning on before I got there. At check-in, they noticed my birthday on my ID and wished me a happy birthday, then brought Milk to my room after I said I didn't mind the cats visiting. Milk cuddled and let me pet them before heading for the door. I was touched and amused, imagining Milk thinking, "Wait, am I being made to work?" 😂 When I got back from dinner, there was a small birthday present and a card waiting for me. Such a thoughtful gesture. I'll definitely come back, and I'd recommend the guesthouse to anyone who loves cats.

The room was more comfortable than a hotel room, and the location right beside Far Eastern Department Store made shopping easy. The price is great value, too. The husband and wife who run the place are welcoming and chatty. They offer guests complimentary red wine in the evening, though I missed out this time because I had to get up early. Breakfast isn't included, but I found snacks hanging on the door each morning, which was a nice surprise. There's also a free cat to sleep with, and I was so happy to be chosen! As a cat lover, I liked that there are lots of appealing cats here and that you can bring your own cat along.

The three cats were adorable, the place was very clean, and they thoughtfully provided toiletries. The friendly owners were a lovely couple, and we were surprised with a complimentary breakfast even though it wasn't included. They also offered red wine and a chat before bed. I'll stay here again next time I'm in Hualien. Thanks for the warm welcome! 🤍
