The staff were nice, and I'd come back. Everything was clean and the surroundings pleasant. It was quiet at night, with Starbucks and TzuChi hospital within walking distance.

The guesthouse felt warm and comfortable, and it was clear the owner had put a lot of care into it. They were welcoming and friendly, and the rooms were tidy, clean, and well equipped. Having a coin-operated washer and dryer was especially convenient. I'd definitely stay again.

The owner was so kind and gave us a special discount when he learned we were visiting family in the hospital. Our room was clean and the blankets very comfortable. I'd certainly come back.

We changed our summer holiday plans from Tainan and Kaohsiung to Hualien after a week of heavy rain and flooding in southwestern Taiwan. We made the itinerary as we went, and were lucky to find Mr. Nordic B&B. We stayed two nights. The furnishings were clean and comfortable, the price reasonable, the location convenient, and the kids loved having Netflix. The beds had just the right firmness. Our spontaneous Hualien trip turned into a fun three days and two nights, with perfect weather and everything going smoothly. Day 1: Farglory Ocean Park and General's Mansion, then dinner at Donburi Garden. We stayed at Mr. Nordic. Day 2: Guangfu Sugar Factory and Lintianshan Forest Farm. We ate Gongzheng Baozi, Miaokou Black Tea, Dongdamen Night Market, and Su Ji Restaurant. Another night at Mr. Nordic. Day 3: Tzu Chi University, Baibao Creek Jade Picking, Rufeng Jade Workshop, and Qixingtan.
