The owners were very friendly, and it’s very close to the train station. The rooms are colorful and unique. I’d definitely stay here again. 😄

There was a 6.3 earthquake in Hualien City last night and into the early hours. The shaking was strong, and there had been lots of shaking yesterday too. Even the night market was shaking, and today it’s shaking again!

We often bring distant relatives and friends to stay here because the owner is so kind, considerate of guests, and quick to help. Sunflower B&B is cozy and less than a three-minute walk from Hualien Station.

The room had clean sheets and blankets, a clean bathroom, bottled water, a unique theme, and adorable cats. The location was convenient too. Still, there’s room to improve: the air conditioning smells musty, soundproofing is poor, and the expired shampoo wasn’t replaced.

The landlady was absolutely wonderful. When she learned we were in Hualien to help Qingyu, she offered us a discount on her own initiative. I’m so grateful! If I get the chance to come again, I’ll choose Sunflower Homestay again. Thank you so much! 🙏
